Tippecanoe has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Troy Trojans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tippecanoe is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Troy in Ohio (Tippecanoe is ranked 172nd, while Troy is ranked 548th).
Tippecanoe scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 81-20 victory over Greenville on the road. Tippecanoe has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Troy suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Piqua by a score of 50-47. That's two games in a row now that Troy has lost by exactly three points.
Tippecanoe pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Troy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
