Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jones). They claimed a resounding 75-42 victory over the Raby Raiders. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Raby lost on Thursday, don't look at Jaylen Walker. Despite the final result, he posted 24 points. That was a full 57.1% of Raby's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sharvis Pipes, who earned 11 points.

Jones has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Raby, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Jones will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Austin College and Career Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Raby and Manley will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
