Oconto Falls is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Clintonville on Friday as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Randi Metzler made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Amelia Danielczak and Maddy Maloney did most of the damage at the plate: Danielczak got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Maloney went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Maloney has posted since back in April. Izzy Otto was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Oconto Falls always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Little Chute fell victim to Luxemburg-Casco and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 13-0. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.
Oconto Falls has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Little Chute, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
Oconto Falls beat Little Chute 7-3 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
