Despite the loss, Bayside Academy still got an impressive performance from Walker Collins, who picked up 55 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 33 yards. Collins was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 50 yards.
Gunner Rivers had a dynamite game For St. Michael Catholic., throwing for 240 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75.8% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Rivers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Moss, who rushed for 107 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.
Bayside Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-19 win against Marbury on the 29th. As for St. Michael Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-28 victory against John Carroll Catholic on the 29th.
