Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-0 victory over the Burke Bulldogs. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Woodland's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4. As for Burke, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Woodland will square off against Academic Magnet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will be up against the Raptors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Burke, they will take on Andrews at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
