North Lenoir hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
North Lenoir pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for East Duplin, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
