In what's become a running theme this season, Thunderbird gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They put the hurt on the Yuma Criminals with a sharp  16-2 victory. The  win was familiar territory for Thunderbird who now have four in a row.
 Thunderbird got a great performance from  Evan Turner as she  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits (she also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate,  Brooke Casey was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.  Rachel Cavanaugh was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 On Yuma's side,  Derryel Medel and  Elia Palencia stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Medel  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Palencia  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Thunderbird has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 14 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record  this season. As for Yuma, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-12.
 Thunderbird will head out on the road to  square off against  Coconino at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Coconino is coming into the  match with seven straight  victories at home,  so Thunderbird will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. Yuma will take on Shadow Mountain at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
