Massaponax extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping their season record down to 1-19 in the process. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Stafford Wolverines. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Panthers' highest-scoring match to date.
As for North Stafford, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games.
For North Stafford's part, Kaylee Lizardo was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most runs Lizardo has posted since back in March. Gracie Krause was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
