After flying high against the Barberton Magics last Saturday, the Roosevelt Rough Riders came back down to earth. Roosevelt was beaten by Copley 70-31 on Wednesday. Roosevelt was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Copley, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Highland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Copley, they will head out on the road to face off against Cuyahoga Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cuyahoga Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 316th, while Copley is ranked sixth).
