Having just played yesterday, the Providence School Stallions will jump right back in to play the Graves County Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Providence School is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
On Wednesday, Providence School came up short against Cincinnati Country Day and fell 64-54. The loss put an end to Providence School's undefeated start to the season.
Despite their loss, Providence School saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Julianna Baskin, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. The matchup was Baskin's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janai Jordan, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Graves County beat Starr's Mill 38-27 on Wednesday.
Providence School's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Graves County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
