Xander Eason was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eduardo Rodriguez, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Trinity Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Leonard, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will face off against Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Atlantic's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for Leonard, Leonard and Palm Beach Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Palm Beach Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Leonard in Florida (Palm Beach Central is ranked 78th, while Leonard is ranked 308th).
