Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Union Grove's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Union Grove walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eastside Eagles 50-47. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 51-50 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.

Union Grove is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points over those games. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Coming up, Union Grove will take on St. Pius X Catholic on Saturday. Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
