Le Grand has won six straight games at home, while Mariposa County has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. Le Grand is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
Le Grand's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Gustine as they made off with a 17-0 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.
Ava Avila made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 22 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Le Grand was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Mariposa County was able to grind out a solid victory over Stone Ridge Christian on Monday, taking the game 6-1.
Like Le Grand, Mariposa County also got a great game from a two-way player: Hailey Hatcher. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Hatcher was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one double.
In other batting news, Kallie Wass was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Le Grand has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mariposa County, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Le Grand hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .385. However, it's not like Mariposa County struggles in that department as they've averaged .326. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Le Grand's way against Mariposa County in their previous meeting back in March, as Le Grand made off with a 14-2 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
