After soaring high against Lone Pine last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Calvary Baptist took a 22-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Michael's Prep. Calvary Baptist were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Michael's Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Calvary Baptist back to even at 1-1. The win bumped St. Michael's Prep's record up to 2-0.
Calvary Baptist will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Cuyama Valley. St. Michael's Prep will stay at home against Lutheran at 3:30 PM.
