On Monday, Mt. St. Michael Academy came up short against East Stroudsburg North  and fell  61-54.
 East Stroudsburg North was led to victory by  Nate Wilder and  Bryceson Dobie.  Wilder  scored 22 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals, while  Dobie  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and ten  rebounds. Wilder has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wayne King, who  scored seven points along with two  steals.
 Mt. St. Michael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for East Stroudsburg North, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
 Mt. St. Michael Academy will look to defend their home court  on Wednesday against Holy Cross at 4:00  p.m. Holy Cross presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mt. St. Michael Academy in New York (Holy Cross is ranked 141st, while Mt. St. Michael Academy is ranked 319th). East Stroudsburg North will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Pocono Mountain East at 7:00  p.m.  on January 18th. Pocono Mountain East is coming into the  match on a six-game losing streak.
