The Huron Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Bellevue Redmen at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Huron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Bellevue will be up against a hot Huron squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Tigers came out on top against Willard by a score of 8-5 on Monday.
Madison Holeman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reece Hotz, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucy Hinners, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Bellevue came up short against Shelby on Saturday, falling 14-1.
Huron's record is now 7-4. As for Bellevue, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Huron has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. However, it's not like Bellevue struggles in that department as they've averaged .446. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
