Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Kapaun Mt. Carmel's Third in Last Four Outings

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Kapaun Mt. Carmel and Heights, and Kapaun Mt. Carmel kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kapaun Mt. Carmel took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Milleson, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Milleson has posted over her last nine games.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

Coincidentally, Kapaun Mt. Carmel and Heights will both be playing East the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Aces at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
