Manheim Township won the last time they faced J.P. McCaskey and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Streaks put the hurt on the Red Tornado with a sharp 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Streaks, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Violet Wagner tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March.

Manheim Township always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Manheim Township back to even at 8-8. As for J.P. McCaskey, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manheim Township will square off against Penn Manor at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight. As for J.P. McCaskey, they will take on Cedar Crest at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
