Hoelscher was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 51 yards. Linn also got a significant boost from Gus Peters, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
Linn's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Titus Black, Joe Brandt, and Brandt picked up one apiece.
