Wisconsin Lutheran entered their tilt with Pius XI Catholic on Monday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They never let the Popes get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Sydney Vitangcol made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reese Grudzielanek, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zhana Guenther, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Wisconsin Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .314 or higher in ten consecutive contests.

Wisconsin Lutheran's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games.
