On Meigs' side, Jaynna Wright and Mallory Adams did some serious damage despite the final result: Wright scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Adams went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Delana Wright, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Even though they lost, Meigs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ironton struck out eight times.
