The Trinity Trojans are on the road again on Friday and plays the Fairview Warriors at 6:45 p.m. on February 9th. Trinity will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Fairview is ranked 142nd).
Last Tuesday, Trinity came up short against Open Door Christian and fell 53-46.
Despite their loss, Trinity saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aidan Duncan, who scored 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. Justin Sims was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Fairview didn't have too much trouble with Chagrin Falls on the road on Tuesday as they won 64-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fairview.
Trinity's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Trinity ended up a good deal behind Fairview when the teams last played back in January, losing 58-44. Can Trinity avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
