While Central put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Chestnut Ridge. The Dragons put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 9-0 victory. Considering the Dragons have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jay Hoenstine was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Josh Beltz, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Central's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Chestnut Ridge, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against Philipsburg-Osceola on the 22nd. As for Chestnut Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Central Cambria on the 22nd.
