McDonald County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamie Washam, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Washam scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Roslynn Huston, who scored 16 points.
McDonald County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Monett, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
