After losing to the Karns Beavers the last time they met, the Halls Red Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Halls skirted past the Beavers 52-50.
Jake Lane continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Halls' points. Evan Workman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Halls' victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Karns, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Halls will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Campbell County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Karns, they will head out on the road to challenge the Smoky Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
