The Shaler Area Titans will head out to take on the Taylor Allderdice Dragons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaler Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

While Shaler Area's win against Knoch wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Shaler Area sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Knoch on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Colby Mcguire, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Luke Jarzynka also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Taylor Allderdice narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Our Lady of the Sacred Heart 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Shaler Area's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Taylor Allderdice, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
