Garrett Ace Turns in Season-Best Effort
Garrett Ace produced his most outstanding game to date while leading La Jolla Country Day to the win on Thursday. Ace rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 80 yards.
On the season, Ace has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 26.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Magnus Falkiewicz Leads Santa Fe Christian over Army-Navy
Santa Fe Christian was led to victory by Magnus Falkiewicz, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Falkiewicz rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 66 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Santa Fe Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Falkiewicz and Santa Fe Christian will stay at home for another week and welcome Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pj Rogers Has Career-Day on Friday
Santa Fe Christian was led to victory by Pj Rogers, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Rogers rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Rogers has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 46.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 25.71 rushing yards per game.

While Jacob Eastley delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Army-Navy. Eastley turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Army-Navy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. They and Victory Christian Academy are set to duel on Friday.
