Buford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
The win made it two in a row for Buford and bumps their season record up to 17-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Liberty, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-14.
