The Bruni Badgers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to Benavides. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bruni in their matchups with Benavides: they've now lost three in a row.
Bruni's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Benavides, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Bruni's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hebbronville at 2:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Hebbronville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday. As for Benavides, they will take on Ben Bolt at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Ben Bolt is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
