The Commerce Red Raiders fell victim to the Holyoke Purple Knights''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Purple Knights 42-0. Commerce's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it five in a row.
Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Holyoke, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Commerce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Holyoke will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Hadley at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd.
