The Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada will be playing at home against the Mullins Auctioneers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Atlantic Collegiate Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matchups -- so hopefully Mullins likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Atlantic Collegiate Academy humbled Kingstree with a 75-38 victory. The Armada have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jamie Brooks, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Justin Bellamy, who earned ten points.
Meanwhile, Mullins waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Swamp Foxes by a score of 66-56.
Mullins found their leader in sophomore Dakarai Worley, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards. Worley is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Deyon Ford was another key player, putting up 20 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.
Mullins smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. As for Mullins, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Atlantic Collegiate Academy and Mullins are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Atlantic Collegiate Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 65 points per game. However, it's not like Mullins struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy couldn't quite finish off Mullins in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 66-64. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Worley, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. Now that Atlantic Collegiate Academy knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
