Volleyball Recap: Monrovia Has No Trouble Against West Covina

Monrovia posted their biggest victory since April 1, 2024 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Covina Bulldogs as the Monrovia Wildcats made off with a 3-0 win. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Monrovia never let West Covina on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-23.

Monrovia's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for West Covina, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Monrovia will venture away from home to face off against La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monrovia surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Covina, they will be playing at home against St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
