The Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines entered their tilt with the J.R. Tucker Tigers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Carver College and Career Academy came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 77-65 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Camron Paul was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Carver College and Career Academy pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.5 points per game. As for J.R. Tucker, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Carver College and Career Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Royal Tigers at 7:00 p.m. King & Queen Central is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for J.R. Tucker, they will head out on the road to challenge the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freeman is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
