Bishop Moore (Orlando, Fla.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used seven fourth quarter points to seal the 35-10 victory over
Eustis (Fla.).
After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Hornets led 14-3 at the half.
Bishop Moore expanded its lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. BM scored two times in the third, including once on a rushing touchdown.
Jabari Dunham made a difference for the Panthers. He threw one touchdown.
Eustis' lone touchdown came on a 56-yard pass from Dunham to
Dustin Dunham in the third quarter.
The Orlando school had given up an average of 13.2 points prior to the contest. The 10 points that EHS ended with were right around its average of 12.0 coming into the game.
A 34-7 Bishop Moore victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Bishop Moore (5-2) goes up against Lake Nona in a 5A District 7 game matchup next week, while Eustis (3-5) locks horns with Tavares also in a 5A District 7 game.
