Palmetto's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Nazir Pitchford and Simeon Matt. Pitchford picked up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Matt picked up 128 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Pitchford got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 75 yards.
Palmetto's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Camdon Stancil and Joe Hills. Parrish Community pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Palmetto, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.
