It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Roscoe Plowboys had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 60-26 victory over McCamey. The result was nothing new for Roscoe, who have now won five matches by 34 points or more so far this season.
Roscoe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ivan McCann out in front who rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jace Arnwine, who threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes.
Several Badgers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Glidewell, who threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns. Noe Hernandez was another key contributor, picking up 101 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Roscoe has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 9-2 record. As for McCamey, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Roscoe will square off against Windthorst at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Windthorst is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games. McCamey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
