The Jenkintown Drakes lost against the Church Farm Griffens back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jenkintown took a hard 61-42 fall against Church Farm. Jenkintown has not had much luck with Church Farm recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Drakes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kareem Jackson, who scored eight points along with five steals. Desmond Trail was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Jenkintown's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Church Farm, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Jenkintown will head out on the road to take on Delaware County Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Delaware County Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Jenkintown likes a good challenge. As for Church Farm, they will be playing at home against Plumstead Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plumstead Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
