The Falls City Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight defeat. They fell to Diller-Odell 50-44. Falls City was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Diller-Odell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Cooper Morgan was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals for Diller-Odell. Another player making a difference was Tj Vitosh, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Falls City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Diller-Odell, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
Falls City will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer at 8:00 p.m. As for Diller-Odell, they will head out on the road to face off against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Friday. Hopefully Diller-Odell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
