Quincy is 0-10 against Moline since May of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the Maroons at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Maycee Seward was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Adorno, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Quincy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Moline came out on top against Alleman on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Maroons put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Maroons have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kayley Reynolds made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Reynolds was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gianna DeLeon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and one RBI. Payton Lilliman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
The victory snapped Moline's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-14 record. As for Quincy, their record now sits at 6-11.
Quincy might still be hurting after the 14-1 defeat they got from Moline when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
