Cristo Rey Philadelphia enjoyed a cozy 73-59 victory over the Warriors. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mekhi Robertson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Brown, who scored 16 points.
Cristo Rey Philadelphia's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Life Center Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-12.
Cristo Rey Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Life Center Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on February 16th. Rock Creek Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in their respective states (the Eagles are ranked 27th in Maryland, while the Warriors are ranked 129th in New Jersey).
