 Lake Central's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Merrillville,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 10-8.
 Lake Central will square off against Hamilton Southeastern at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Hamilton Southeastern will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something Lake Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Merrillville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chesterton  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
