Leetonia came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Chaney Cowboys on Tuesday. The Bears not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 14-4).

Leetonia's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Chaney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leetonia will face off against Central Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chaney, they will take on Padua Franciscan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Cowboys' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
