It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Twin Lakes ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Rochester Zebras. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Zebras: they've now won three in a row.

Aidan Holle and Tate Goyer did most of the damage at the plate: Holle got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Goyer went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Mason Brummett, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Twin Lakes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Twin Lakes pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Rochester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-5.

Coincidentally, Twin Lakes and Rochester will both be playing Elwood the next time they take the field. The Zebras will head out to face the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
