He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another thorn in Antonito's side was Kyle Presely, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Meanwhile, Caliche entered their tilt with Flagler on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
La Veta's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Caliche, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
