Southwestern won the last time they faced North Mac and things went their way on Thursday too. The Piasa Birds walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The game was the first time the Piasa Birds have beaten the Panthers on their court since October 10, 2015.

While Southwestern might've won, it sure wasn't easy: North Mac scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for North Mac, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Southwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Jersey on the 15th. As for North Mac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hillsboro on the 12th.
