The Notre Dame Academy Tritons will challenge the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Notre Dame Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season.
Notre Dame Academy took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Saturday. They put the hurt on Algoma with a sharp  13-7 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tritons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

 Aubrey Wykoff was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emma Jahner, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Madison Siminski, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Notre Dame Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  9-4 to Ashwaubenon.
 Manitowoc Lincoln saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Madeline Johnson, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Manitowoc Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Notre Dame Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
Manitowoc Lincoln's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Notre Dame Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Manitowoc Lincoln, though, as  they've  only  averaged .257. Will they be able to contain Notre Dame Academy's hitters?
 Notre Dame Academy couldn't quite finish off Manitowoc Lincoln in their previous meeting  back in April and fell  8-6. Will the Tritons have more luck at home instead of on the road?  Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
