Pierce County is 0-3 against Windsor Forest since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pierce County Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Windsor Forest Knights at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Tuesday, Pierce County came up short against Vidalia and fell 52-44. Pierce County has struggled against Vidalia recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Windsor Forest's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 63-55 to Tattnall County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Landon Page, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Smith, who scored 14 points.
Pierce County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 4-12 record this season. As for Windsor Forest, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Pierce County took a serious blow against Windsor Forest in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 74-32. Can Pierce County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
