Ingraham had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Franklin on Friday. The Rams put the hurt on the Quakers with a sharp 8-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Miles Schurman looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. Caden Morris came in to relieve Schurman and was airtight, giving up no runs, hits or walks in his six innings pitched.

At the plate, Ingraham let Colton Ashford and Bryce Campbell run wild. Ashford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Campbell went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Ingraham is undefeated when Ashford posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Gavin Trainor also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Ingraham's record now sits at 6-4. As for Franklin, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ingraham is set to square off against their familiar foe Ballard at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Franklin will face off against rival Rainier Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
