 On Gray Collegiate Academy's side,  Peyton Hendrix made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. Hendrix has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Hendrix was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Kaylan Boudreau was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 Marion's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 22-4. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the  victory was  the 24th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 33-2.
 As of now, neither Marion nor Gray Collegiate Academy have any future games scheduled.
