The Carlson Marauders entered their tilt with the Roosevelt Bears with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Carlson came out on top against Roosevelt by a score of 40-31 on Thursday. This was payback for Carlson, who suffered a 57-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Carlson can attribute much of their success to Abigail Carafelli, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carafelli has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Wallace, who scored eight points.
Carlson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlson will take on Anderson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against Trenton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
